About Mullein Leaf: Mullein is a biennial herb in the Scrophulariaceae (figwort) family. When in bloom, it is characterized by a tall pinnacle of yellow blossoms. Its soft, velvety leaves are dried and used as a mild expectorant in herbal traditions. David Winston often combines Mullein with demulcent herbs and antispasmodics.
