About Chickweed: This small but mighty plant has a history of use in traditional European herbalism and American folk herbalism for its healthful properties. The herb was often employed in various topical applications as well as internally for its demulcent properties. Dried chickweed herb is often infused as chickweed tea, macerated in vinegars, tinctured, made into an external wash, or used in skin care creations. Chickweed is considered energetically cooling and moistening.
